Home Ground is running another 3-day workshop to soak up the energy, renewal and reflection of Matariki! Please share with friends and whānau!

Our workshops are an opportunity for wāhine to try out different art forms with different artists, and other women. Participants will learn more about themselves and the creative process. Home Ground is a creativity and wellbeing programme for women who are in the justice system. Each programme uses creative arts practice, such as photography, creative writing, movement and music, as a non-threatening, strengths-based approach to self-empowerment, community connectedness and wellbeing. WHERE Newtown Park Apartments, Mansfield Street, Newtown, Wellington WHEN The project starts on Tuesday 10th June, 10:00am. We work from 10:00-2:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The project finishes at 2:30pm, on Tuesday 12th June
WHO There are spaces available for 10 women. The project is facilitated by the Home Ground team. There will be two guest artists - Ahi Nyx (Raranga) & Sarah Rossiter (Clay, Paint, Collage) and peer mentors in the space as well.
