The Home Ground Community Handbook: From our table to yours

Over 2021, the Home Ground Collective designed a small handbook written by women in the justice system, for women in the justice system. The Home Ground Community Handbook: From our table to yours was created by women bringing their wisdom and skills to the table. The creators decided they wanted to make a resource that reflects their knowledge of how to be resilient when faced with the challenges of being on Community sentences. Everyone has different ways of coping, and all agreed that the experts (other women) have valuable skills to share! The recommendations in the book are tried and true, and the different images were created by participants over the different Home Ground projects. The cover image was a collaboration with our amazing art heroes, The Dream Girl Art Collective (Gina Kiel, Xoë Hall, Miriama Grace-Smith). Our amazing creative content was crafted by Home Ground's Roseanne Leota and Anna Wooles. The ever-efficient editor was Meg Martin, and graphic design by JAM Works. Home Ground plans to create a resource annually, by women in the justice system, for women in the justice system.
